As teammate and QB, Tua Tagovailoa tears up defenses with his play calling, Tyreek Hill steps up for his teammate. In an unexpected scenario of conflict, it seems like Tyreek Hill isn’t a fan of former wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson.

Tyreek Hill steps up for a teammate

The Miami Dolphins star man took to Twitter to express his dislike for Johnson. He questioned Johnson’s presence on national television. Moreover, he was disrespectful in his conduct as he misspelled the wide receiver turned tv personality’s name.

Johnson recently came at the Dolphins’ QB. He stated he needed more evidence from him to rate him as a top 5 Quarterback. Tua currently ranks third for most touchdowns thrown this season. He is at 18 on the list, short of Patrick Mahomes (25) and just a couple behind Josh Allen (20). However, Tua has been intercepted the least number of times at 3 among them. That is quite a heck of a showing for the third-year quarterback.

As Tyreek’s tweet was brought up on their TV show, Johnson got a little personal in his defense. For all the voicing of opinion, Johnson has done during his days, he should have definitely been able to understand where Tyreek was coming from.

However, he didn’t hold back either. “Everybody ain’t gonna get on TV,” said Keyshawn as he suggested he does a good job and is liked by people. The former WR then stated the obvious about getting paid to be on TV. He didn’t stop there as he continued to say,” Some can’t speak, some can’t comprehend and some quite frankly don’t have this look.”

He didn’t take any names, but it was clear that he was going after Hill after being called out by him.

A new duo in the making

Johnson’s fellow hosts also suggested Tyreek was just having his player’s back. Tyreek Hill has been all praises for his QB ever since he landed in Miami. Their performance this season is just an example of the chemistry the two have going.

Naturally, Hill was going to step up for his guy, and that is exactly what he did. He thinks he is one of the best this season and that’s big coming from the guy who was catching balls coming off Patrick Mahomes’ throws. While the chattery around the field is always going to be a part of the game, the duo showing this kind of unity will be big for Miami fans as they are in contention for a competitive run this season.

As the NFL world waits for Tyreek’s retaliation to the former wide receiver’s comments, it will be interesting to see if Hill pays him any heed. Meanwhile, Hill and Tagovailoa will continue to build on their on-field bromance.
