After the practice, supporters swarmed Patrick Mahomes, who had stunned them with his outstanding performance at training camp. Chief used his Instagram story to offer his gratefulness to his followers. In the video, fans surrounded him for his autograph, post his training session. And why not? His remarkable performance surely attracts a huge fanbase.

During his training, Patrick Mahomes’ dedication to his craft was apparent and even recognized by Arrowhead Editor-in-Chief Pete Sweeney. Sweeney praised Mahomes’ performance on Twitter, particularly a play during the first 11-on-11 period where Mahomes threw a sidearm pass about 40 yards down the field to receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling who successfully caught the ball despite coverage. It was an impressive display of skill and teamwork.

Initially, the squad faced challenges as some of their best players, including wide receiver Kadarius Toney and linebacker Isaiah Moore, were absent due to injuries sustained in past games. However, the team managed to shine through with their dedication.

Rookie cornerback Nic Jones set a record with a pass breakup during 1-on-1 coverage. Jones joined the Chiefs as a seventh-round pick in 2023, and it is inspiring to see his rapid growth. Even free agent Mike Edwards impressed everyone with his athletic interception during 11-on-11 practice.
