After all his effort throughout the years, Patrick Mahomes has become the chosen son of Kansas City. His excellence over the years has earned him 2 Super Bowls and a lot of love from Kansas. Moreover, his accolades in terms of passing and yards have been exemplary. However, a recent post on Twitter seems to be downplaying Mahomes’ achievements.

A post has gone viral on Twitter that showcases an interesting list of some of the best quarterbacks of the Chiefs. Interestingly, Mahomes’ placement on the list was so low that he was almost off of it. Fans even took to the comments to berate the list. The intriguing aspect is the actual source of that list. So who would place Mahomes at the end of their list?

Patrick Mahomes undervalued without bias

A lot of people have a habit of making top 10 lists of QBs and one such list about the KC Chiefs QBs went viral. The list included all-time Chiefs’ QBs. However, the list itself placed the QB at the absolute end, calling him 10th on an all-time list. While the fans might want someone to blame, the list was prepared by an Open AI module by the name of ChatGpt. While it placed Mahomes, a two-time Super Bowl Champion at the end, it placed old-timer, Len Dawson first.

Len Dawson has been regarded as an all-time great. After all, he led the Chiefs to their first-ever Super Bowl win in the ’70s on an injured knee. He even won the Super Bowl MVP in his Super Bowl appearance. His appearance on the list is a given. However, placing Mahomes in the 10th position might just be a little unfair. At the mere age of 27, Mahomes has led the Chiefs to 3 Super Bowls, winning 2 of them with his team. Furthermore, he has a league MVP as well as a Super Bowl MVP from his recent win against the Eagles.  Placing him in the last spot in terms of all-time greats might seem a bit unjustified.

Furthermore, fans were quite reactive when the AI-generated list went viral. They themselves took to Twitter to react to the controversial list that had been made.

Mahomes’ fans explode on Twitter

After the ranking went viral, fans were not very happy with the AI’s judgment. They took to Twitter to talk about the kind of inconsistencies there were in the list. One fan said, “This list is objectively and subjectively wrong. Mahomes is the best QB the Chiefs have had, followed closely by Dawson, Montana, and Green.”

Another fan mentioned how AI seems very non-threatening and said, “It’s hard to be scared of AI taking over the world when you see stuff like this.”

Furthermore, another fan mocked the list and spoke about how they forgot to put Mahomes should be put on top: ” think they meant to put …01…in front of Mahomes.”

Another fan spoke about how the list was messed up and said, “Wtf Mahomes should already be top 4 and probably 1. I’d understand if he wasn’t yet just cause he only been here 5 years but he should be above Montana cause he wasn’t there long either.”

Finally, one fan spoke about how AI needs a lot of upgrades and said, “Looks like AI has a long way to go.”

All in all, fans were not very happy with the way the list had panned out. They did not approve of the kind of list ChatGPT made about the quarterback.

With such an extensive list, fans were truly shocked by where Mahomes was placed. With his brilliant accomplishments, the QB might deserve a spot that is higher. However, it only remains to be seen if he is able to garner the kind of faith Chiefs fans have in him from an AI bot in the near future.
