2023 is going to be an acid test season for Russell Wilson. But that is still 15 weeks away. Before getting on the Sean Peyton bus of challenges, the Denver Broncos quarterback had some spare time on his hand. And he chose it to spend it with wife Ciara and distract himself from the challenges ahead for the time being. He has some huge ones ahead so he will need a lot of recharged batteries.

Wilson arrived in Denver with many expectations apart from a $245 million contract. But his first year did not go as planned. The Broncos tanked under Wilson which led the franchise to turn to the legendary Sean Payton for guidance. The QB has found a way to recharge himself as he acclimatizes himself in Payton way and Ciara is right beside him.

Ciara certainly got a cozy evening with husband Russell Wilson amid his bid to redeem himself this upcoming season. The couple lit the fireplace and spent the evening in each other’s loving company. Wilson shared a short video on his Instagram stories that gave the idea of the general ambiance of the couple’s ‘Us time’.

Ciara and Wilson have spent a good amount of time together this NFL off-season. They went to the Vanity Fair Oscars party together and dazzled the world. The family is certainly a close-knit one and the couple back each other in all their endeavors. Wilson backed Ciara as she dropped a single recently. Now it is Ciara who is backing Wilson amid the uncertainty of coaching change.

The Broncos brought the QB in with a new head coach Nathaniel Hackett. And it did not work out. The Broncos finished the season with a 5-12 overall record and Hackett lost his job without even seeing out the season. But then enters Sean Payton.

The Broncos brought in Sean Payton to guide the ship that appeared damaged. And there is renewed hope at Mile High as the Broncos country gets used to the style of the new head coach. He has done it before with the New Orleans Saints so there is no reason that it can’t happen at the Empower Field.

Payton gave the world Drew Brees and Russell Wilson will hope to raise his game from last season. He threw for 3,524 passing yards in the 2022 season and managed just 16 touchdowns, a career low for the 2014 Super Bowl champion. So, both Payton and Wilson have a reputation to maintain. Can they work together to lift the Broncos’ country to the forefront of the football world? There is some time before the fans begin finding out the answer. Till then, it’s family time for the veteran QB.
