During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with his wife Ciara, the QB admitted that in order to keep the hopes of playing till the age of 45 in the NFL; he has to pay a whopping $1 million every year. For him, it has become a lifestyle he maintains.

Ciara supports Wilson in this endeavor. She says that they often consider being healthy a sort of competition in their household. Russell Wilson has an entire team dedicated to helping him maintain his fitness and health. He has a full-time trainer who travels with him, a full-time therapist, and also a mobile person. The mobile person makes sure that Wilson has the correct movements.

The QB also has a full-time massage therapist and two chefs, who make sure to feed Wilson the right kind of food. Nutrition is an important part of the fitness game and Wilson has made sure to cover every aspect of his fitness regime.

Wilson’s own TB12 method

Tampa Bay Buccaneers former QB Tom Brady was the oldest active QB in the NFL for the 2022 season. At the age of 45, Brady played his last season before hanging up his cleats. Brady also followed a rigorous TB12 method he formulated to keep himself fit for such a long time.

The 34-year-old Wilson, who recently signed a blockbuster deal with the Denver Broncos, wishes to be a player of the same category. After not having a good first-season performance, Wilson will look forward to strengthening his regime even more, if he wishes to achieve what Brady achieved at 45 years old.
