Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the definite surprise package in the NFL last season. The Bruce Arians-coached franchise finished second in the NFC South behind champions, New Orleans Saints. Their offense struggled at times but Todd Bowles’ defense put up some strong performances at crucial points in the season. A large reason for their success was veteran defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh.
The former Detroit Lions man has been with the Bucs since 2019. He was a vital cog in their defense alongside the likes of Lavonte David, Shaquil Barrett, Devin White, and others. The 34-year old was keen to return to Florida, at least for another year.

Confirmed: Ndamukong Suh will return to Tampa Bay in 2021

After testing the free agency pool for a while, Ndamukong Suh will re-sign for reigning Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers this summer. The Bucs have already re-signed Lavonte David and Shaquil Barrett on short-term deals. But it was unclear if Suh was going to return to the sunny shores of Florida.
GM Jason Licht and his team are working on a tight budget in the build-up to the 2021 NFL season. However, they’ve still agreed on a one-year extension worth $9 million. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles will be delighted to hear this news as the coaching staff prepares for pre-season.
Here are some epic reactions that we came across on Twitter
The #Buccaneers bring back Chris Godwin, Leonard Fournette, Lavonte David, Shaq Barrett, Rob Gronkowski, & Ndamukong Suh at a projected $33.25M of combined 2021 cap, or $600,000 less than the #Eagles dead cap hit for #Colts QB Carson Wentz.

Suh is one of the most consistent interior DL in the league.
There's a reason for that. He said after every season he "goes back in the kitchen" with his trainers on the Nike campus. Their focus is constantly finding different modalities to keep him playing at a high level.

One person who won’t be happy with Ndamukong Suh’s extension with the Buccaneers is Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. The NFC North champions were knocked out by the Buccaneers in the conference final which was played at Lambeau Field.

Suh once again dominated proceedings to keep Rodgers at bay. The Bucs eventually ran out winners by a 26-31 scoreline. It will be interesting to see how these two players face off when they go up against each other in 2021.
