Jerry Jones-owned Dallas Cowboys entered their Week Five clash on the back of a loss against the Cleveland Browns last week. A large portion of the blame for that 38-49 loss was placed on a below-par defense. Quarterback Dak Prescott was a standout performer last Sunday.
The fifth-year quarterback completed 41 of his 58 attempted passes. He threw for 500+ yards with four passing TDs against one interception. Prescott was the key player for the Cowboys that night as they prepared for the game against the New York Giants in Week Five. However, things did not go as planned for the former Rookie of the Year award winner.

Prescott was having a great game against the Giants tonight. He was even involved in a brilliantly devised play wherein he turned into a wide receiver and caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from teammate Cedrick Wilson. However, all that changed in the third quarter.
Six minutes into the penultimate quarter of the game, Prescott was at the receiving end of a strong tackle from Giant’s defensive back Logan Ryan. Dak rushed for nine yards before being brought down by Ryan. However, he landed awkwardly on his ankle because and suffered a nasty injury.
The Cowboys quarterback appeared to dislocate his ankle as his teammates watched on in horror. Prescott looked to be in pain and almost immediately broke down in tears when he understood the nature of his injury. He had to be carted off the field and was rushed to a local hospital immediately for further treatment.
