Last season, during the Bucs vs. the Jets game, Brown removed his gear and left the field in the third quarter waving to the crowds. After that, he never returned to the field. A few days later, the Bucs released him from his contract. Since then, no team signed him, as he is currently a free agent. As per reports, AB asked the head coach not to start him because of an ankle injury.

Last season’s head coach Bruce Arians cleared the air and confirmed that Brown never asked not to play him. Nevertheless, Brown also had a beef with Tom Brady as well, reportedly. Despite all the problems, it’s still unclear whether his NFL career is over or not. However, it’s still possible to see him playing for a team in the future.
