Twin Sister Patricia Bündchen Pursued a Separate Career Path for a Bigger Reason Despite Signing Up With Gisele Bündchen to Chase Modeling Dreams

Apart from her marriage with her ex-husband Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen is one of the top models when it comes to the fashion industry. Coming from a humble background, she grew up with six sisters during her childhood in Horizontina, Brazil. She was always close to her sisters, and her humble background solidified her personality of having a helping and giving nature. Amongst all her sisters, she shares the closest bond with her twin, Patricia Bündchen.

Like her supermodel sister, people also considered Patricia Bündchen to be very beautiful during her teenage days. Even she joined Gisele Bündchen in following her own dreams of becoming a model. But she left that dream to pursue a different career path. What could be the reason behind this?

The twins share the same dreams 

According to an article by Nicki Swift, the mother of the Bündchen sisters kept all of them busy by making them participate in various activities. During her interview with Vanity Fair, Gisele Bündchen stated that she, Patricia, and her other sister Gabby were like “the three musketeers.”

She recalls that since their mother had to work; she enrolled the three of them in modeling class back in 1993. And back then, Gisele Bündchen dealt with bullying in school for being skinny and tall. But after trying out modeling, it was Gisele who managed to catch the interest of the modeling agencies while Patricia carved a different career path of her own. Now, we get to see glimpses of Patricia only when Gisele posts something related to them on social media.

Despite not being able to fulfill her dreams of becoming a model, Patricia Bündchen stayed close to the industry while working with her twin sister. 

Patricia became the manager of Gisele Bundchen

After engaging in the same activities as her supermodel twin, Patricia felt that she was more suited to work at the backend of the industry. She started working as Gisele Bündchen’s manager, always speaking highly of her positive attitude and her success in the fashion industry. Apart from this, Patricia also works as Gisele’s spokesperson in public most of the time. Even when the supermodel decided to go on a hiatus from her modeling career, it was Patricia who broke the news to the public. 

Despite the difference in career choices, the Bündchen sisters share an unbreakable bond even today, after decades of being together. And it does not look like this bond will be fragile anytime soon.
