The Bears’ head coach Matt Eberflus is most likely to pick Taylor, given their history of previous association. Eberflus was part of the Indianapolis Colts initially and coordinated defense for three years before moving on to the Bears. He has first-hand knowledge of the RB’s skillset and can effectively utilize it to enhance his teams’ performance. With Khalil Herbert and D’Onta Foreman already an integral part of the team, the inclusion of Taylor can only make it stronger.
The Rams on the other hand are armed with Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, the addition of Taylor can further enhance their offense. Apart from the Bears and Rams, the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders have been rumored to be considering advancement toward acquisition.

The dissatisfaction with his team that spiraled out of a failure to negotiate terms of potential extension is what soured the relationship between Taylor and his team. Apart from the fact that he was recovering from an ankle injury, he had other issues that caused his absence from training camp and practice matches to make his involvement with team activities scarce.
Selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the 24-year-old RB dominated the NFL season with record rushing yards and multiple touchdowns and became an All-Pro and Pro Bowler the same season. His capabilities are well known and it is understood that he can greatly add to any team’s arsenal, and James Irsay is not letting him go without a substantial price which he deems fair. According to reports the Colts will be settling with nothing less than a first-round pick in exchange for Taylor.
