Maya Brady bags another achievement

Just like the NFL GOAT, his niece Maya Brady is slowly becoming a recognized name in the college softball scenario. She plays for UCLA in Los Angeles and has had a stellar career this year, with Tom Brady supporting his niece all the way. She recently also opened up about how her 7X Super Bowl-winning uncle helped her nurture her own career with his relentless support. And now, Maya Brady gives her uncle another reason to be proud of her, days before his birthday.

According to a post by UCLA Softball, the 21-year-old niece of the NFL GOAT is one of the semifinalists for the prestigious AAU Sullivan Award. The award recognizes the most outstanding amateur athlete in America for their exceptional college performances. And with the way Maya Brady has been performing for UCLA, she is now named as one of the contenders for this prestigious commemoration.

But this is not the only achievement the nice of the NFL GOAT has brought in for her family this year.

Softball niece of Tom Brady is having an MVP year

The 21-year-old became the first Bruin to win the 2021 Pac-12 Player of the Year award. Then, just recently, she also bagged the 2023 Pac-12 Player of the Year award once again. Maya Brady has been gradually improving her game. With a batting average of .456, the Redshirt junior also recently narrated her journey from being a utility to playing infielder this season. But this led to her on a path to UCLA greatness. She helped the Bruins to an impressive 52 wins for 7 losses this season, before losing to Liberty University at the NCAA regionals.
