Just five days following Kamara’s suspension for the first three games of the season, another running back, Kareem Hunt is set to organize a rematch of Super Bowl XLIV between the Saints & Colts in 2023.

Kamara openly admitted his error in judgment to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, expressing remorse for his behavior at the Pro Bowl incident in Las Vegas. Which took place the night before the 2022 Pro Bowl. On Tuesday, Dianna Russini of ESPN mentioned the Saints’ intention to sign Hunt, but an agreement wasn’t reached. Subsequently, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport stated that Hunt is now set to visit the Colts in Indianapolis.

Rumors circulating in the league suggest that Hunt’s potential move to the Colts might be linked to the ongoing contract negotiations involving star running back Jonathan Taylor. If Taylor’s relationship with the Colts continues to deteriorate due to contract disputes, Hunt stands ready to strategically fill the void.

Hunt might find it beneficial to think about joining the Colts

After the break between seasons, reportedly it’s a good idea for Hunt to consider playing for the Colts. There’s a question mark around Jonathan Taylor because his ankle got hurt after he asked to switch teams in July. Taylor won’t probably hurry to get back on the field since he wants a new deal.

The Colts don’t have many options because Zack Moss broke his arm and can’t play for a while. If Hunt joins, it might help the Colts talk to Taylor and be ready if there are changes or problems. Right now, the situation doesn’t promise for sure what will happen to Hunt. In either scenario, it appears that an awaited rematch is shaping up with the inclusion of Kareem Hunt.
