The NFL world is finding it hard to bid farewell to the Seven-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady. Recently, Mark Davis and Tom Brady have officially ‘come to an agreement‘ for the former New England Patriots legend to join the ownership group. Davis himself confirmed the news during a phone call with ESPN and went on to share his excitement around the same. However, Brady still requires a nod from all 24 NFL owners for the ownership dream to actually come to fruition.

While Brady prepares for a career transition, former Dallas Cowboys legend, Troy Aikman still believes the iconic signal-caller will be back for one final stint.

I don’t want to speak for Tom, I wouldn’t rule anything out. I would bet that just nothing is off the table, as far as what may occur during the season or what Tom’s role may be. you just never know.” expressed Aikman.

While Troy Aikman’s views are based on the logic that Brady has maintained his elite shape and would still be an asset to any organization, he might have missed out on a few complications. If Brady does become a part owner, he would require the approval of all NFL owners in order to land on the roster. Additionally, there have been reports of the owners binding Brady to a stipulation for not letting him play in the NFL as long as he is an owner.

With Brady etching closer to an ownership role, the Raiders have been facing setbacks from a strictly QB point of view, and maybe Tom Brady would be the solution to all their ailments.

The Raiders’ QB1

The Las Vegas Raiders might be in dire need of seeking a replacement for their QB1, Jimmy Garoppolo. Prior to signing with the Raiders, Garoppolo failed his physical due to an injured left foot, but the Raiders went ahead with the deal anyway.

As things stand right now, Jimmy Garoppolo is still recovering from a surgery he underwent in March and the Pro Bowler is still not back in shape. Additionally, the Raiders have the option to cut him at NO COST if he can’t pass a physical.

While Garoppolo is expected to make an eventual return, the timeline has not yet been established. If the injury lingers on as far as late July or early August, then the Raiders might need an alternative. And who knows? Tom Brady might be there to rescue the day.
