With Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence leading the team to win the Week 1 game against the Indianapolis Colts in incredible style, they’re ready to face anything. But facing Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, the 4-time MVP and 2-time Super Bowl champion, on the field will be a different thing.
In the video, Ryan Stamper, Jaguars director of player assessment said, “We ain’t forgot about what happened last time. But we ain’t in KC. We in Duval! The Bold City.”
The Jacksonville Jaguars won their last game against the Chiefs in 2009. It was then followed by seven back-to-back losses, with the last two losses coming from last season. The Jaguars lost to the Chiefs in the last regular season with a 27-17 home victory. But this season, the Jaguars are in high spirits. After all, they’ll be facing their arch-rival in the convenience of their home field at EverBank Stadium.

This is what Lawrence said about facing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs this Sunday. “You got to play cleaner, especially like we talked about playing against a team like the Chiefs this Sunday. You got to execute better than that.”
