Travis Kelce’s Girlfriend Kayla Nicole Was Left Perplexed By Will Smith’s On-Stage ‘Overreaction’

Everybody has been talking about Will Smith slapping the taste out of Chris Rock’s mouth. It seems like everybody has their two cents for the actor and his actions. Recently, the girlfriend of Travis Kelce took to Twitter to address the situation. Kayla Nicole cannot find a reason to justify what Smith did on stage. 

Some assumed it was staged, while others thought it was real. Regardless, everyone was taken aback when Smith approached Rock and slapped him on the Academy Awards stage. Nicole believes that it was a “major over reaction” by Smith. 

Why did Will Smith slap Chris Rock?

Chris Rock was on the stage presenting the award for the best documentary. Being a comedian, he was just doing his job by making jokes. During the segment, Jada Pinkett Smith caught his attention. Jada had to shave her head because she is struggling with alopecia.

Chris Rock was aware of the situation, yet he cracked a joke on her. He said, “Jada I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it.” At first, it seemed like Will Smith was laughing at the joke, but his wife, not so much. A few seconds later, Smith got up from his chair and hopped on the stage. He walked towards Rock. Nobody knew what was going on? Smith then suddenly slapped Chris Rock and walked back to his seat. 

When Smith was back in his seat, the cameras captured him yelling, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f*cking mouth!” Rock, still processing what happened, just said, “Oh, wow.” And “I will.” Everybody in the audience and everyone watching all around the world couldn’t believe what they just witnessed.

Kayla Nicole had a lot to say about the incident. She has been actively talking about it on Twitter. She has posted a series of tweets on her official account. Travis Kelce might not have said something, but Nicole did. In one of her tweets, she said, “In the real world, if you put your hands on someone be ready for the repercussions. Because this isn’t Hollywood, and you can go to jail.” 

Nicole thinks that what Will Smith did was an overreaction. “That was a major over reaction. There must be some other shit going on. Cause what!? SLAPPED HIM!?!?” Maybe there is something else going on between Will Smith and Chris Rock. But the slap rocked the entire internet.
