Travis Kelce kicked up a laugh riot when he recently failed to recognize multiple NFL head coaches from a group photo. And the phenomenon is still going on. Looks like even the coaches are taking the joke it has become in a stride. In the latest podcast with his brother, Travis revealed that multiple coaches reached out to him since the day the incident happened.

Kelce is a definite showman and loves to put on a show whenever he gets a chance. He has multiple engagements coming up where he will get the chance even during the offseason. Right now, he is still facing the aftermath of his failure to identify NFL head coaches.

Travis Kelce appeared with his brother and the Philadelphia Eagles captain Jason Kelce on their ‘New Heights’ podcast. Naturally, the conversation turned to the photo incident from last week. And the Kansas City Chiefs TE revealed that many from the NFL world had reached out to him after that day, including the likes of Pat McAfee and multiple NFL head coaches.

“McAfee reached out, thought it was hilarious. A lot of coaches actually reached out. Like maybe not the head coaches in the photo…,” Kelce said on the podcast.

Jason couldn’t just let it slide. He immediately shot back with a hilarious response that he thought the coaches might have come on Travis with.

“They are like ‘Travis remember me?’,” the Super Bowl runner-up said and couldn’t control his laughter. “That’s making sure if there’s ever any chance in the future,” Jason added.

The brothers looked at the NFL head coaches’ annual photo from the owners’ meet last week. And the two-time Super Bowl champion failed to recognize eight out of the 29 head coaches in the photo. For a fan, the score would be fabulous, maybe even enough to be called a nerd. But Kelce’s problem is that he has to face many of these coaches regularly. For the moment though, the star TE has other things to do.

Busy period for the Super Bowl champion

Travis Kelce has been a busy man since winning the Super Bowl almost two months ago. Since then, he has hosted Saturday Night Live, attended the Oscars, and regularly brings his podcast to the fans. But this is just the start.

Kelce will throw the ceremonial first pitch of his boyhood MLB franchise the Cleveland Guardians’ home opener on April 7. Then, he has a music festival to host during the draft weekend. Kelce Jam is coming to Kansas City on April 28, the opening day of the 2023 NFL Draft. And then comes the ‘New Heights’ live show that the brothers announced for next month.
