The Jaguars executed one of the greatest heists in NFL history, snatching victory from the hands of defeat in style. All thanks to the phenomenal grit shown by Trevor Lawrence, who believed in his squad and motivated them to go big instead of tasting a setback. His mic’d-up video is now going viral on social media depicting the bone-chilling moment from misery to winning the game.
Trevor Lawrence, has time and again proved why he was selected first overall by the Jaguars in 2021. As they say, leadership matters, and getting a win out of blue and covering up the 27 points deficit out of nothing is world class stuff. Even his opponents admired Lawrence for managing the situation despite throwing four interceptions in the nightmarish first half of the game.
The #Jaguars have the right kind of leaders on the team.

The zero-to-hero story unlocked several achievements and records for Lawrence in his professional career. He became the only quarterback to throw an interception during his first two career playoff drives. While the first half recorded three interceptions, the quarterback mitigated its impact with a touchdown in the second quarter. However, the agony didn’t stop there as he got picked again and posted the score 27-7 by the end of the first half. Thereafter, the Clemson product shifted gears and passed for three touchdowns surpassing the Chargers’ lead.

This win was quite essential for the Jaguars. Because Lawrence had to set up a benchmark in his first playoff game of the season. “You couldn’t write a better script to win a game like that tonight, so it makes it more special, but don’t want to do that again,” Lawrence said after the game, per CBS Sports.
“Got to take care of the ball. That’s where it starts,” he added. Lawrence totaled 288 yards completing 28 of 47 passes with four touchdowns and four interceptions.
NFL world hails Trevor Lawrence for the incredible comeback
The best part of the night was the post-game celebrations Lawrence had along with his teammates. He went to America’s favorite Waffle shop and embraced the moment. No doubt, fans’ happiness saw no bounds.
