Tragedy struck at Lambeau Field when Joshua Shaw, a 27 year old carpenter involved in renovations, lost his life. In what can only be termed as a devastating accident, Shaw was working on the Green Bay Packers‘ north end zone scoreboard when it occurred.
June 15th was an unfortunate day in the history of the packers, and the entire community is mourning the loss of a young life.

Joshua Shaw’s promising life was cut short during a routine day at work at Lambeau Field. Contracted with Mavid construction, the 27-year-old was assisting with the renovations on the iconic stadium’s north end zone scoreboard when he suffered a critical injury.
The severity of the incident necessitated immediate transportation to the hospital, but despite medical efforts, Shaw tragically passed away two days later.

Hailing from Clintonville, Wisconsin, Shaw worked alongside his father and brother in the family carpentry business under Mavid Construction, a Green Bay-based company. It is worth noting that neither of Shaw’s relatives was present during the fateful incident, adding another layer of heartache to the tragedy.

?He?s going to be saving six lives with his organs and they said he also will be, I don?t know what the word he used, enhancing, helping others? health with many other tissues so there will be even more than the six with the organs,” Shaw?s mother Bobbie Jo Jarvenpaa told WBAY.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Shaw’s accident.
