Colorado Godfather Deion Sanders is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery to fix blood clots in both of his legs on Friday. His 56-year-old girlfriend Tracey Edmonds confirmed the news on Instagram and thanked God and their supporters for their prayers. The surgery was a result of complications from a previous operation in September when Deion had to repair a dislocated toe and an inflamed nerve on his left foot. The blood clots caused him to lose two toes and 35 pounds in 2022.
Tracey Edmonds wrote: “We are so grateful for the healing power of God and for all of our prayer warriors! It was a long, but successful day! #CoachPrime @deionsanders is resting and doing great tonight after his surgery! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Fam! We love you! 🙏🏽❤️” Deion is expected to be released from the hospital on Sunday and resume his coaching duties at Colorado soon.
