Zach Wilson has experienced one of the league’s most-talked-about slumps in performance and general likability. Wilson has been far from Mr. Popular, according to the speculation that has been making rounds. While the drama began with the QB shaking off responsibility with regard to his poor performance, the situation escalated by leaps and bounds.
As new reports come to light, it seems like the Jets squad wants nothing to do with their 23-year-old QB.

The Jets squad has reportedly had enough of Wilson’s antics. NFL reporter Dov Kleiman tweeted what The Athletic’s Zack Blatt reported. He said, “Report: After a 10-3 loss to the #Patriots mid-season, the #Jets locker room “rejoiced” that the team decided to bench QB Zach Wilson in favor of journeyman Mike White. When Wilson replaced White weeks later, multiple teammates “openly grumbled” in meetings, per @ZackBlatt.” According to The Athletic’s report, Wilson’s teammates were happy about the QB being benched.

Toxic seems to be the overall theme of the Jets’ situation at the moment.
More toxic jets nonsense. He is going to be on team next year. Just accept it.

Jets fans will definitely be disappointed with the way their season turned out. While Wilson was not the most likable QB before, after the slump in his performance, his overall likability slipped even further down. The team looked on track to make it to the postseason at the midway mark of the regular season. But unfortunately for them, it did not work out as planned.
