“Tom Was in the Tub With Me and My Mom”: Gisele Bündchen Once Recalled a Memorable Moment of Her Marriage With Tom Brady That Changed Her Life Forever

Though they are not together today, the love story of Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bündchen has much to offer for everyone to learn. The couple went through many ecstatic and agonizing moments in their life together. They have a lot of milestones that they achieved, including the birth of their two kids. Years before their eventual divorce, Bündchen recalled a special moment in her marriage with the NFL legend that changed her life, for the better.

Bündchen split up with Brady in October last year after 13 years of marriage. Their split sent shockwaves around the celebrity word and left everyone baffled. But almost a decade before that, a moment in their marriage brought the couple closer than ever. It was the birth of their dear daughter Vivian.

Gisele Bündchen recalls Vivian’s birth 

Gisele Bündchen is an advocate of home birth for kids. And that is exactly what she did when she gave birth to both her little ones with Tom Brady. In her 2018 memoir, she recalled her experience of giving birth to Vivian in a birthing tub. And she painted quite a picture of what happened in the room that day.

“Once again, Krishna Das was chanting, and the candles were glowing. Tom was in the tub with me, and my mom. Deborah, Mayra, and my sister Fafi were also in the room. I’m so happy that I was awake, and conscious, when I gave birth to both my children,” the Brazilian wrote in ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’.

Brady supported her decision to give birth at home rather than a hospital. He even stayed in the birthing tub with her. All in all, it was an extraordinary experience for the Supermodel who was happy to be awake while giving birth. For her, that was more important than the unbearable pain she endured during the process. Even a decade later when much has changed, that experience would still help her maintain a bond with the two little ones and, maybe, their supportive father.

Co-parenting with Tom Brady 

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen split up last year and ever since then, they have opted to co-parent the kids. Benjamin is now a teenager and Vivian is 10 years old. They understand what goes on with their parents. And the cordial co-parenting helps them grow up in a loving environment, knowing they have both their mother and father for them.

Brady hung up his cleats after playing 23 seasons in the NFL, in February. Since then, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB spends all the time he can with the kids. He is even keeping Fox at bay and they have a mammoth contract for him. A couple of kittens have come into the family as Vivi wanted them. So much is centered around the kids in the Brady household. Bündchen wants the kids to reconnect with their roots so their Brazil trips may increase in the future. All-in-all, the ex-couple have made it a point to not let the divorce impact their little ones. From being together in the tub for birth till today, Brady and Bündchen are doing this. Together.
