During The Pat McAfee Show, the ex-NFL Punter kept a theory in front of the panel of a Twitter user. It talks about how Tom Brady strategically returned to the NFL to keep his income running after the split. The user’s thoughts are just random and unproven. But it does not rule out a possibility.
Pat McAfee mentioned, “Maybe Tom [Brady] was checked out a little bit. Maybe Tom not entirely bought into this particular season, which would explain missing some practices… What if Tom knew this divorce was coming, so he delayed the $375 million payday until after the divorce? Comes back and plays, un-retires… what are the chances that Brady didn’t retire and accept a huge payday for joining the booth because he knew the divorce was coming, he came back to the Bucs, and he didn’t want to just limit his earnings?”
The theory shared by Pat McAfee came from a Twitter user. While it is entirely speculation, one cannot rule out the possibility that it could be a strategic move by Tom Brady.
