Russell Wilson has a new sandwich in store as he collaborates with Subway. While it is dangerous and spicy, according to the star, 3 times super bowl champion Julian Edelman has decided to put it on the roast as well.

Russell Wilson recently shared a new advert in collaboration with Subway. And the post has since gone viral. Becoming the inspiration for numerous memes and edited reposts. Now, Julian Edelman, the former New England Patriots wide receiver, has also joined the party. He posted an edit of the same commercial in which you can see the receiver has a hilarious interaction with Wilson.
The reel starts with Russell Wilson asking the former player if he has done anything dangerous. To this Edelman replies, “Yeah, I bet on you tonight.” While chewing the new sandwich, the quarterback does deem it to be ‘Dangerous’. The interaction does not end here. When Wilson confesses that, he has done something similar. Julian Edelman takes no time to remind the quarterback how he can’t bet on any games as a player. “Don’t think you are allowed to do that there bubs,” added Edelman.
Russell Wilson and the ‘Dangerwich’
Recently, the player has become the centre of a meme storm. While Russell Wilson introduces his new signature sandwich with subway, which is aptly called ‘Dangerwich’. In the commercial, Wilson explains that the sandwich gets its name by being dangerously good. Further warning the audience to be careful though, as it is “spicy”.
The new commercial has garnered so much attention. While the bizarre premise of the player addressing a second person is weird in itself.

Julian Edelman’s lost best
It seems like Julian Edelman might be regretting a bet on the player. As the Denver Broncos went on to lose their week 5 game. Coming against a struggling Indianapolis Colts the matchup was anyone’s to lose. And it was the Broncos who managed to avoid the win.

In a match bereft of any touchdowns. Russell Wilson threw two interceptions and failed to connect with KJ Hamler on what could have been an easy touchdown. He even threw one of his interceptions late in the 4th quarter, which ultimately resulted in the Colts equalising the score. However, Wilson has remained positive after the abysmal outing. Hard to say that about Edelman, who seems to have lost a few thousand bucks.
