Sunday’s Week 4 clash between the Buccaneers and the Chiefs was the face-off between two generations. Although Tom Brady was one of the favorites, the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes clinched an easy win by posting 41-31 at the end of the final whistle, the most eye-catching was the moment when the duo met each other in the midfield and Brady gave his piece of appreciation to the youngster.

For Patrick Mahomes, this clash was the rematch of Super Bowl LV, where he got crushed by the Seven-time Super Bowl Champion. But today, his early pick-sixes helped him get the better of Tom Brady and Co.
After the game, they both met near the midfield, shaking hands. Mahomes wished his counterpart best wishes for the upcoming games in the season. While Brady seemed impressed when asked the gunslinger to keep it up! “You look great. Keep it up.” Brady said to Mahomes.
Indeed, those phenomenal three touchdown passes were some of the precise throws made by the young quarterback. His TD pass by scrambling across the field, great trick plays, and the final two yards throw to Clyde Edwards-Helaire at the end zone were some of his masterpieces.
Although Tom Brady is quite competitive and aggressive on the field, in various instances, he appreciated Mahomes and his skill. In one of the recent interviews, Mahomes recalled an incident from the 2018 AFC championship game where he lost 31-9 to the Patriots and still got an opportunity to interact with Brady, who was waiting for him on the sidelines.

“‘Hey, just keep doing it how you’re doing it. You’re doing it the right way,'” Mahomes said about Brady giving the advice. “When the GOAT’s saying that you’re doing it the right way, it kind of shows you that you are doing it the right way. So that was big for me.” He gushed and cherished the moment.

With the pace at which he is growing, Patrick Mahomes seems to follow the path of NFL greats. Although he has only one title now, the youngster still has so many seasons ahead.

Even though Brady was on the other side of the field, Mahomes couldn’t stop admiring the veteran. “You want to not like Tom, but he’s just like the best guy,” Mahomes said in an interview. “So, it’s hard, it’s hard to not like him. I mean, he’s the GOAT. You want to learn from the best, and it’s really cool to have that relationship with him.” he added.

The Raiders and the Bills are next on the list for Kansas City. With this recent performance, Mahomes is expected to have boosted his confidence, and the team is officially back on track with a 3-1 record.
