Tom Brady and the Buccaneers escaped with a win on Monday on the narrowest of margins. Seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady engineered the comeback drive to keep Tampa Bay’s playoff dreams alive. However, the way Tom Terrific started the game didn’t make a lot of people hope for a Buccaneers win. Including Pat McAfee.
The former Indianapolis Colts punter and the host of the Pat McAfee show tweeted out his opinions, looking at Brady against the Arizona Cardinals. Moreover, the NFL world agreed to the analyst’s assessment. At 45, Tom Brady looked like a shell of his former self. Especially after throwing 2 interceptions in the 19-16 win.
“Man.. Tom looks unfamiliar as hell,” Pat McAfee tweeted.

Fans want Tom Brady to hang up the cleats and head for the cozy 10-year $375 million Fox Sports analyst job mapped out for his post-NFL life.
However, the fans and the media may have spoken or tweeted too soon because even at 45, TB12 knows a thing or two about clutching pivotal games with game-winning offensive drives, having done so against the LA Rams and Saints already this season. Brady played on Christmas for the first time in his 23-year career, and he didn’t want his first to be a loss.
Tom Brady ultimately proved Pat and Co. wrong

TB12 passed for 281 yards on Sunday Night Football on 32 passes out of 48 attempted. And it was a night for the veterans on the pitch. Both Brady and Packers’ signal-caller Aaron Rodgers got their much-needed wins. Tampa Tom threw the all-important touchdown pass to Rachaad White in the 4th quarter with the Buccaneers trailing by 10 points. Ryan Succop turned up as usual, with his field goal ultimately pushing the game to overtime. In overtime, Succop hit the game-winning FG to take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to 7-8 for the season.
Despite atoning with the comeback drive, Tom Brady was far from his best. J. J. Watt and backup Arizona tackle Brandon Walton made things exponentially harder for the Bucs QB. However, it was 23-year-old cornerback Marco Wilson who caught two TB12 interceptions. This is Brady’s third straight game with two interceptions. And Pat McAfee maybe wasn’t too far off in his assessment.
