From almost getting “frozen to death” to stealing food for other models, Gisele Bündchen has seen the in-and-outs of how things work behind the camera. Because the competition was tough, oftentimes Gisele faced questions about her hazy identity. A word that the industry for models impacted her self-esteem and only served to further her perplexity.
She wrote: “In my early twenties, I was extremely hard on myself. I was working in a business where girls (that’s what they always called us, too—”girls”) are judged every day by how they look.” The models had no identity of themselves and faced rampant criticisms about their appearance. This made the supermodel conscious. Consequently, she did not enjoy her work.

Brady’s ex-bride saved herself
Therefore, to protect herself from the harsh environment and competitive environment, she resorted to meditation. Being self-critical was not doing her good. So, in order to change her mindset, she started meditating.
Yoga and meditation helped her and made her more compassionate toward herself. “Of all the many lessons meditation has taught me, the most important has been about the power of my own thoughts to help or harm me.” Hence, to heal from her unpleasant experiences, she relied on yoga and meditation.
