Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have now lost two games in a row against the Steelers and the Panthers. Especially, their loss against the Panthers raised a lot of questions regarding Brady and his ability to play at a certain level in the NFL.

Moreover, people are reading into his body language on and off the field as well. During ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ show, the panelists talked about Brady’s body language and how the Bucs can save their season.

Does Tom Brady look dejected?

‘Get Up’ analyst Kimberley A. Martin recently said, The whole body language is killing me, it’s killing me. And I so wanna call this, ‘the Bucs will be the greatest comeback story of all time’, I want to. But Tom, he’s not playing the part.

She then compared Brady’s attitude with Aaron Rodgers’ attitude off the field. “He just looks dejected. That pause… like ‘no Tom’. You know what, give me Rodgers and all that craziness and like attitude, cause at least, he is defiant, at least, he’s like ‘we will get better’. I don’t know what that was,” she further said.

After that, the panelist discussed Brady’s former teammate, Rob Gronkowski, and if he could make a difference in this team. The Bucs do need to address their tight end position; however, Gronkowski hasn’t played for many months after retiring at the end of the 2021-22 season.

Notably, Gronkowski initially retired from the NFL after the 2018 season and didn’t play for over a year. Then he came back to join Brady and the Bucs and won the Super Bowl. So, it’s still plausible for him to return to action once again if he gets a call from his best friend, Tom Brady.

The Bucs are having a terrible season so far

Even if Gronk makes his return and joins the Bucs, it will be still hard for them to come back. In the end, if Brady doesn’t perform like his usual self, the team will not make it to the playoffs. On the other hand, Brady is dealing with a problem of his own, as his relationship with his wife is at a delicate stage, as they might head towards a divorce.

Meanwhile, the Bucs still have a chance to make it to the playoffs because they are still at the top of their group in the NFC South division. So far, the Bucs lost 4 games and won 3; the second-placed Falcons also have the same record as Tampa. This Thursday, they will play the Ravens. Certainly, it will be an interesting match-up between Tom Brady and Lamar Jackson.
