After an eleven-day absence from the training camp, Tom Brady returned to action on Monday. He has not spoken to the media since then. Thus, nobody knows how he spent his eleven-day hiatus. But the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Todd Bowles, has alluded to the possibility that the starting QB of the team will face the Indiana Colts. The two teams will face each other at the preseason finale.

The Super Bowl-winning QB did not play in the first two preseason games. The final and third game will help Brady to gel and maintain chemistry with the rebuilt offensive line of the Bucs. Although the coach did not explicitly mention Brady, he did say, “Everyone who is healthy will play.”

And Tampa Tom is healthy enough to practice. He practiced in full swing on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and a veteran day on Wednesday. During practice, the QB showed his strength and appeared focused.

Tom Brady will line up with new teammates

This will mark the first time Tom Brady will play in the current preseason. Also, the first time when he will line up with the wide receiver, Julio Jones. Brady will stand behind the newly made offensive line. Robert Hainsey will take over the center position; he took over for Ryan Jensen.

Luke Goedeke and Nick Leverett compete against each other to gain the left position. For the coach, it is not only important to see new players from the O-line and receiving end practice together, but also to play together in a game. Also, to inspect how they work under different circumstances.

Brady is well off to play!

Todd Bowles is not concerned about Brady’s conditioning. Tom Brady would have inadvertently practiced only three times. “He’s fine with everything,” said the coach.

And about his time off, the coach made it clear that he would not have allowed the time off if he did not think it was necessary. “If it wasn’t a situation that we (had) talked about, if it wasn’t important, I wouldn’t have done it,” Bowles said. Brady participated in at least one preseason game every year since 2000.
