He further mentioned that it’s even hard to compete when the franchise gets going just as they did that night. According to Brady, the Bills were having a great day. He mentions how Allen threw his first touchdown pass while he was on the sideline and was “trying to throw that ball away.” Yet the ball was caught for a score.

“From a quarterback standpoint,” Brady continued. “When that happens you’re like, ‘Man things are going your way.’ You know you think you’re throwing that ball out at the back of the end zone and you’re conserving a field goal and the next thing you know your tight end catches for the end zone for a big way to start the game.”

It was certainly not a great day for the Patriots as they lost 47-17 to the Bills. Making it the worst loss suffered by coach Bill Belichick in the playoffs for the first time in his two-decade career with the franchise. However, it was not like it was all luck for the Bills. Brady admired the quarterback’s spirit. “Josh Allen played spectacular football in zero-degree weather and was throwing the football extremely well,” Brady said.
