Tom Brady is widely regarded as the greatest football player of all time. So far in his career, he has won 7 Super Bowl rings. No other player in the game’s history has won more than Brady. Notably, he has won at two different franchises, i.e., New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, he did not have an easy start. Doubts loomed large over Brady making it to the NFL, as he wasn’t getting picked by any team in the NFL Draft 2000. At last, the New England Patriots decided to take a chance on him.

The Patriots drafted Tom Brady with the 199th overall pick in the NFL Draft 2000. Usually, when a quarterback is picked so late in the Draft, he rarely gets to play in the league. Not even did Brady get a chance to play in the league, but he has had the most glorious career ever among all the players in the game’s history.

The career of Brady has been an inspiring story for all the players who have been picked late in the Draft. It’s not quite often that you get a good player in the latter rounds of the Draft. However. There certainly are some gems available down the order in every year’s draft.

Brady is seen as an icon of the sport for the upcoming generation of players who are entering the league. The young players will be ecstatic when they’ll get a chance to share the field with the ‘GOAT’.

However, just like Brady, many players were drafted late. Unsurprisingly, Brady gave them words of encouragement that will be very motivational for those young players. In reference to players getting drafted in the 6th round of the draft, Tom Brady tweeted, “A good place to find guys with a chip on their shoulder.”

Brady is ready for another Super Bowl run next season

Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL following the exit of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Divisional Round Game. However, his retirement was short-lived, as he is back again in search of an 8th Super Bowl Ring.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are again among the favorites to win it all this year. Notably, Tom Brady is hungrier than ever, and there is a very high possibility that Tom Brady will add another glorious chapter to what already has been a career that others can only dream of.
