Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a rough few days so far which saw them lose multiple star players to injuries. However, thanks to their proactiveness, they have managed to sign Le’Veon Bell as a backup who already seems to have settled in the camp.

Earlier this week, the New Orleans Saints stunned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by stealing an important away victory. While a loss at this point wouldn’t have hurt the Bucs, what really hurt Tom Brady & co was the after-effects of the game.

Injury Crisis for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

For starters, the match saw Pro Bowler and key player Mike Godwin suffer an ACL and MCL strain ruling him out for the season. Moreover, running back Leonard Fournette also faced a blow that potentially rules him out till Week 17. Mike Evans also suffered a blow but according to reports, he should be back in the next two weeks.

For a side that was winning it all, a sudden injury outbreak can potentially derail their campaign. Losing key players for lengthy spells in the middle of the season is the worst scenario for any team as all you have at your disposal are free agents.

The Bucs hence wasted no time to sign the most famous, experienced, and talented free agent right now; Le’Veon Bell. The former Ravens RB has been signed as the backup for Leonard Fournette. After the signing was announced, the veteran WR revealed an interesting practice session anecdote involving Tom Brady.

Carmen Vitali, Staff writer for the Buccaneers shared an excerpt from Bell’s interview where he revealed Brady’s heartful gesture. “Le’Veon Bell said Tom Brady pulled him aside at practice today and told him: “If you need ANYTHING, come ask me.”
