Tom Brady and his association with Tampa Bay narrowed after the QB1 announced his retirement. The NFL GOAT arrived in Tampa Bay in 2020 after jumping ship from New England. Since then, he has remained a member of the Bay area. But after retirement, Tom Terrific moved out of the property. The residence is now up for lease, and one can live like a champion for $60,000 per month.
In 2020, Tom Brady arrived in Tampa Bay and took up Derek Jeter’s mega-mansion in South Tampa’s Davis Islands for lease. Brady lived there with his then-wife, Gisele Bündchen, and two kids. But soon after, he changed to a modest option at 588 Riviera Drive. The former Buccaneers QB1 lived there until making his final retirement decision and eventually moving out.

Live life, Brady size
Tom Brady and his family opted for a modest-looking residence. But the house is covered with amenities. The 6,550-square-foot home has a six-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home plan. The house is a 2019-built waterfront pad with a broad outdoor area, a swimming pool, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a four-park garage. The heavenly adobe is listed for lease for $60,000 per month and was in the market for $12.5 Million last fall.

The one-story residence has a kitchen with loaded appliances. It also includes a custom wine cellar, an elevator, and a dock to park boats. Interestingly, the Weeknd also rented the property when he came to Tampa Bay for the Super Bowl LV halftime performance. The property’s value would see an inevitable spike after such high-profile residents.
Before moving into this property, Tom Brady made waves after arriving in Tampa and renting Derek Jeter’s 22,000 sq. ft mansion in the Davis Islands. The property is a top-tier residence with bolstering amenities. But the NFL GOAT had a big issue while living there.
What did Tom Brady dislike in Derek Jeter’s mansion?
MLB Icon Derek Jeter’s pad had all the amenities one could wish for. Be it a wine cellar, gym, movie theater, or personalized clubhouse. It had everything. But Tom Brady had one major issue with it, and it was the privacy concerns.

While speaking with Howard Stern in 2020, Tom Brady mentioned, “I forgot people could drive up to your house. Here they can pull right up to the back of the house. Derek did a pretty good job of screening it. I am a little bit of an introvert. I feel like my house is my place. I can relax. When you are outside the house, you understand everything with being me… in the backyard, there’s a lot of boats that have pulled up and people at the front.”
