On November 20, a new wave will originate from the west coast after the soccer stars wear boots to lift the prestigious world cup. While fans are excited, celebrities from the NFL are also exhibiting their thrill via commercials, and the Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was first on the list from the NFL world.

He got featured in a FIFA 2022 Commercial released by FOX Sports on October 7. The funny part is the moment when he pokes fun at his own age. He was referring to Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still playing at 37.

The commercial was star-studded with A-list celebrities like Jon Hamm, Ellie Kemper, and of course, Tom Brady, 45. It was a holiday-themed clip that linked to the football festive season, with Hamm wearing the Santa costume and Kemper being Mrs. Claus.

The video started with the duo having conservations about the preparation needed ahead of the tournament. That’s when the camera gets panned to football celebrities like Cristiano Ronaldo.

Instantly, the shot breaks and Brady appears in the frame watching the game while biting green veggies, saying, “He’s getting kind of old isn’t he.” He was referring to Ronaldo, 37, who is still playing in his prime, and poked fun at his critics.

Well, to a much larger extent, Brady has lived up to his expectations. While speaking in an interview at 40, the signal-caller spitted out his intentions to play for five more years. “I think 45 is a pretty good number for right now. I know the effort it takes to be 40…My love for the sport will never go away.” he said.

“I don’t think at 45 it will go away. At some point, everybody moves on. Some people don’t do it on their terms. I feel I want it to be on my terms. I’ve got to make appropriate choices on how to do that, how to put myself in the best position to reach my long-term goals,” Brady explained.
