Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, Chris Godwin has been hampered by many injuries so far in his career. At first, he tore his ACL last year and then again sustained a hamstring injury during the season opener. Last week, he made his comeback against the Falcons, as Tom Brady welcomed him back into the team with a great gesture.

Tom Brady shows a great gesture for his Bucs teammate Chris Godwin
Earlier, Tom Brady appeared in the press conference before the Steelers game on Sunday. In that press, he was wearing a Chris Godwin-printed shirt, which showed the bond between him and his teammates.

It is worth noting that Godwin tore his ACL last year in December. At first, the doctors gave him eight months of recovery time. During the offseason, the 26-year-old wide receiver was going through the recovery process, but nobody expected him to get fit for the season opener against the Cowboys.
Even leading into the game, the Bucs were not sure about his participation and listed him in the questionable category. In the end, they activated him for the game. However, he again sustained a hamstring injury in the first half; as a result, he did not return in the second half. Before going off the field, he caught 3 passes for 35 yards.
Before tearing his ACL in 2021, he was their leading catcher with 98 catches for 1,103 yards. Now, after recovering from both injuries, it seems like his season will finally start. Meanwhile, fans praised Brady for showing that nice gesture for his teammate.

The Bucs are looking to continue their winning momentum
With Godwin returning to the team, the strength has certainly increased for the Bucs. Mike Evans, Leonard Fournette, and others are already peaking, as the Bucs have come back to their winning ways against the Falcons.
Despite the win, their defense might worry them a little bit, as they gave up 14 points in the 4th quarter. Moreover, the roughing-the-passer call on Brady helped the Bucs a great deal to win the game. Certainly, they don’t want to make the same mistake once again against the Steelers, as the Bucs are looking to continue their winning streak.
