Tom Brady has already made plans for his retirement. The GOAT on Monday shocked the NFL world by creating headlines of him signing a robust 10-year deal that would put any of his previous contracts to shame. In surprising news Tuesday morning, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced that the seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady will be hopping on board with Fox Sports to call games alongside lead play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt. He is set to be an “ambassador” for the broadcast after his retirement from pro football.
“We are delighted that Tom has committed to joining the Fox team and wish him all the best during this upcoming season,” Murdoch said.
TB12 signs a deal with Fox as a lead analyst
Tom Brady, to which replied that he is “excited” for this new phase of his life as an analyst. However, he needs to settle “a lot of unfinished business on the field with the @buccaneers.” This possibly hints at another Super Bowl with the Bucs. But it also hints that he might plan to retire after his 2022 season.

New York Post reporter Andrew Marchand further revealed that Brady has signed the largest contract in sportscasting history. TB12 has signed a 10-year contract with Fox Sports worth a massive $375 million. This makes his average annual income $37.5 million, which is utterly bizarre.

To put a perspective around that, the two juggernauts of NFL broadcasting: CBS’ Tony Romo and ESPN’s Troy Aikman, both have an average annual salary of $18 million. This simply means that Brady would be earning double the money Romo and Aikman receive.

Tom Brady and his family is all set to become a Billionaire
Brady’s deal with Fox has now more than just doubled his net worth overnight. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar has bagged $250 million through NFL contracts throughout his career, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Combine that with his promised $375 million deal with Fox, and the GOAT already makes it to $625 million.

Keeping in mind the $400 million Net Worth of his Brazilian supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, the Brady family is all set to become a Billionaire. They will be worth a grand total of $1.025 Billion once TB12 starts his career as a broadcaster.

With this deal being signed, Brady’s return for the 2023 season seems to be fading away. Any team desperate to sign Brady would then have to offer him more than his aforementioned contract as a broadcaster.
