

NFL franchise Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady sent positive vibes through his Twitter post to a Breast Cancer patient. Twitter user Kara Lee found inspiration from Brady’s ‘Man In The Arena’ documentary, featuring the story of his mother’s battle with cancer. Brady, 44, has been really one of the NFL players who sympathizes with people suffering from cancer. Notably, the documentary which focuses on the 2016 Patriots season also presents Brady’s struggle with his mom battling cancer.

His mother Galynn Brady began receiving treatment, which was following a difficult period of chemotherapy for Brady and his relatives. Galynn did receive a diagnosis of breast cancer and myeloma during Brady’s 2016 season. During the 7th episode of the documentary, Brady recalls telling his mom, “Don’t worry, mom, we’re going to get through it.” He was relentless in convincing his mom and at times himself that they were going to fix this situation.

Within the documentary, he credits the toughness that he acquires from playing football helping him stay positive. Even his fellow family members recall the tough period of the ordeal that their whole family faced. In 2018, Brady also did actively showcase support for cancer treatment, in the process, raising $7.5 Million by shaving his head.
