Things haven’t quite gone as planned for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season. Pooling in a host of superstars such as Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, and Leonard Fournette hasn’t quite cut it for the Bruce Arians-led outfit.
Brady was overtly vocal about the team’s need to improve in all departments to be a contender for the Vince Lombardi trophy during a segment with Bucs team reporter Casey Phillips.

‘Everything needs to improve’
While Brady acknowledged that his team was doing a good job with penalty conversions, it was their overall game that needed a massive overhaul.
“Well, I’d say everything, everything needs to improve. Run efficiency, pass efficiency, I think we’ve done a great job with penalties over the course of the season,” Brady said.
Currently, on a 2-game losing streak, the Bucs will have to pull their socks up if they are to make a deep playoff run.

Tom Brady addresses his own weaknesses
Brady’s performances have undoubtedly been the center of attention. After all, the Bucs acquired the winningest quarterback in NFL history, one with more rings than fingers on his throwing hand. However, it is not something he would write home about.
“I think I can certainly do a better job with protecting the football and not turning the ball over. It’s a big point of emphasis for me.
“Again, our communication upfront with myself and the offensive line, myself and the receivers, us being on the same page, so that we can execute at our very best, that’s going to be very important,” Brady said.
Brady, though, kept his chin up and said that the team would continue to work hard to achieve the organization’s goals.
“We’re like, ‘Hey, we got everything figured out. It’s all perfect.’ That’s not how it typically goes. It’s not how it goes with all of us yet. Hopefully, we can get to that point.
“But I think in the meantime, we’re gonna just keep working hard to do the best we can do. And hopefully, that’s good enough,” he added.

The 3-time league MVP hasn’t really found his groove yet; something that has been a cause of concern for fans and Head Coach Bruce Arians.
The latter has made his thoughts on Brady’s performances explicitly clear. Perhaps that is one of the biggest issues that the Buccs need to address.
