The seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is a family man, and probably the upcoming season might prove to be his last campaign in the NFL. Thus the 45-year-old is pumped to hang up his cleats on a high note. In his recent interaction after coming out of an 11-day leave from the Buccaneers training camp, the veteran opened his heart.

On Monday, the former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was the special guest on the SiriusXM radio show. It was hosted by All-Pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and broadcaster Jim Gray.

It was an iconic start for the show, with Brady speaking on various aspects of his professional and personal lives. The first question was regarding his “unfinished business” remark when the quarterback posted his decision to make a comeback from a short-lived 40 days retirement.

Brady said that by unfinished business, he meant that he owes Tampa Bay Nation something. And the way he ended the last year was eating him up the entire offseason. “Well, I just felt like I had a little left. And I want to give it a shot. And I owed it to my teammates, and our great coaches and our whole organization,” he said.

The QB gave a diplomatic answer when asked what it was like to play at the age of 45 and being drafted as a sixth-round pick 22 years ago. The quarterback mentioned that responsibilities increase when an athlete plays for that long. Especially looking at his kids, who are in their teens and pre-teens. Brady vows to play his part for the family.

Although Brady is back in action, the Buccaneers had a terrible off-season. The majority of players heading back to the locker room incurring injuries. The offensive line is almost collapsed with players like Alex Cappa leaving for the Bengals, Ali Marpet announcing retirement, and Ryan Jensen suffering from a knee injury.

However, the quarterback didn’t lose his cool and is confident to enter the field with a strong wide receiver corps. The inclusion of Julio Jones has added more strength to the unit. “We’re going against a good team. The Cowboys are very talented in all three phases,” Brady said.
