Tom Brady Reportedly “Playing Defense” On Saving His Marriage With Wife Gisele Bündchen, Which Is Now Making Him “Awful”

There is no end in sight to the ongoing saga between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, as their divorce is edging closer every day. As per the sources, Brady feels hurt by his marital woes, as it is negatively impacting his mental health.

Previously, sources told PEOPLE that Bündchen has been looking for a divorce lawyer for a while. This incident forced Brady to take legal advice as well. At the moment, they both hired divorce lawyers, as the court case will soon start regarding their divorce.

Tom Brady feels hurt, as his marriage with Gisele Bündchen is almost reaching the end zone?

Recently, a source close to Brady told PEOPLE, “It’s pretty obvious that he’s hurting. He feels very hurt by her.“

According to multiple sources, both Brady and Bündchen have been living separately for months after their reported big fight. According to reports, the Brazilian Model was not happy with Brady returning to the NFL after announcing his retirement 40 days earlier. However, one insider said, “It’s complicated… There’s a lot more to it.“

According to the insider close to Tom Brady, he would not have gone down the legal route if Bündchen didn’t hire a divorce lawyer. “She is the one steering the divorce. She is playing offense, and he is playing defense. He wants to protect himself, protect his interests, but he’s only starting to go the legal route in his defense from her,” the source close to Brady said. 

“Think about it: Tom has had a very charmed life. Things always seem to go his way. He works hard, he’s a good guy, he hasn’t had a lot of things go wrong in his life. This is awful for him. You can tell that this really, really hurts,” they further added.

It is worth noting that since the NFL season started on 12th September; the couple has been living separately. Both of them are living their lives in their own way. However, another source previously said that Bündchen is still looking for some sort of big gesture from Brady, as there’s still a slight possibility of saving their marriage.

While Brady is getting prepared for a legal battle with his wife, he has to focus on his football; particularly in the week 5 game against the Falcons. Although the Bucs and Brady started the season on a winning note, they lost their last two games against the Packers and Chiefs.

The game against the Chiefs hurt them badly. Despite having one of the best defenses in the league, they gave up 41 points against Patrick Mahomes‘ team. Meanwhile, the GOAT has been performing to his usual standards; but the fans believe that the other players are struggling. They are looking to return to their winning ways against Atlanta as their playoff hopes are on the line.
