Tom Brady Planned a Perfect Distraction for Himself From Ex-Wife Gisele Bundchen’s Glamorous Met Gala Appearance

When the Met Gala rolled around this year, all eyes were on Gisele Bündchen. The supermodel made her first appearance at fashion’s most important party since her divorce from Tom Brady. And she did not disappoint, dazzling the fans with her impeccable and glamorous appearance. So where was Brady at that time? Looks like he had a perfect distraction planned for himself from his ex-wife’s dazzling display in New York.

Brady and Bündchen have attended the Met Gala together in the past and even hosted it. But the NFL legend was in no mood to go to the extravaganza this time. Instead, he went on to have a good time on the West Coast, thousands of miles away from New York. And it looks like he enjoyed his time there too.

Tom Brady skips Met Gala for this 

When most of the celebrities, including NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes, had a good time at the Met Gala, Tom Brady was in California. He planned his day out with golf on his mind. So the legendary QB headed towards the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles to polish his game with the clubs, according to TMZ Sports. Also, the new Golf apparel range from Brady Brand might have come at the right time for him.

So, Brady didn’t go to New York for the fashion extravaganza. Instead of red carpets, Brady preferred walking on the Riviera fairways. Instead of tuxedos, he enjoyed his tees (the golfing type).

Gisele Bündchen didn’t miss her ex-husband either. She channeled her nostalgia through her impeccable dress choice.

Gisele Bündchen chose to dial back the clock for Met Gala this year. She wore a vintage Chanel dress that she donned for a photoshoot 16 years ago. When a reporter pressed her about the dress, the supermodel revealed that she had worn it as a reminder of her experience with the designer.

“So, this is a vintage Channel, designed by Karl. I wore this dress 16 years ago in a photo shoot in his house. And so I wanted to wear something that reminded me of him and experience with him. So, I chose this dress,” Bündchen said in a red carpet interview.

Both enjoyed their time separately and did what they wanted to do at the moment. While Bündchen went to the Gala as one of the top celebrities of the fashion world, Brady honed his golf skills. And that is what exactly anyone could ask for.
