Tom Brady has spent 20 long years of his NFL career with Bill Belichick. And if someone knows the New England Patriots head coach better than anyone, then it’s probably him. The duo is now considered to have the most successful player-coach partnership in NFL history. Being a part of six Super Bowl campaigns, the duo is usually accustomed to winning.

Unfortunately, the Belichick side was unable to register a win against their regional rivals Buffalo Bills this past week. And Brady knows well that the coach loses his temper in moments just like these. However, in this moment of distress and bad temper, one of the reporters in the post-game press conference was bold enough to ask Belichick about his New Year’s Resolution.

The look on the face of the most-feared head coach in the NFL was worth watching. Bill, with a grin on his face, then made it clear to the reporter that it was probably not the right time to ask such a question. Furthermore, it was quite understandable why Belichick was feeling the way he was feeling.

The Patriots had gone from topping the AFC charts to a two-game losing streak, stripping off the Patriots of their divisional dominance. But the point is that at this state of adversity, the reporter was brave enough to ask Belichick of the thing he would rather not talk about even if it was the end of the world.

And Tom Brady knew about it. “I want to be as brave and courageous as she was, asking that question to coach Belichick after a loss,” the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said on Monday. “That’s what I want for the New Year.”

Brady admires the courage shown by the reporter for asking this to the most feared man in the NFL. It is most certainly the most hilarious way to wrap up the week. But it is for sure that the Patriots will most certainly bounce back to their original form. Their remaining two matchups will be against the Jaguars and the Dolphins.
