However, possibly the most recognizable acronym in league history has been Tom Brady and the ‘TB12‘ trademark. Since being drafted with the No.199 overall pick, the legendary QB has kept hold of the No. 12 jersey. However, it was difficult as Brady, the former Michigan QB, was keen on inheriting the No.10 jersey.
Despite Brady’s wishes, he received the No.12 jersey in his first year. The number has since become an inseparable part of his NFL legacy. Despite leaving New England in 2020 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his teammate WR Chris Godwin made the number available. While Godwin was only trying to be a gracious host, NFL fans couldn’t contain their happiness to see the GOAT keep his iconic identity.
Tom Brady and his TB12 brand power
After launching his TB12 brand in 2013, it was his first foray into building his portfolio outside of football. Brady and Alex Guerrero, a longtime body coach, co-founded the health and wellness brand. The brand aims to develop a holistic approach to optimize pain management, performance, and recovery by focusing on nutrition, hydration, and movement.
