Later the farmer’s son, who was riding one of the horses, fell from it and broke his leg. The neighbors of the farmers claimed the incident to be catastrophic. However, later Chinese rulers start drafting young boys to go off into war. As a result of his broken leg, the farmer’s son could not serve. Everyone around the farmer claimed the situation to be a ‘blessing in disguise.’

The lesson from the story was that our future would tell us the result of our past actions, so we should enjoy the moment and learn from the situations around us.

Tom Brady said, “When I reflect back on things that had happened in previous years, maybe I wouldn’t have appreciated where we’re at had I not been through what I had been through the previous year”
