Tom Brady, who is usually calm and serious, went berserk last year during the Buccaneers victory parade. He did what no one else would have dared to do. Brady tossed “The Lombardi Trophy” at his teammate on another boat.

However, finally, in commemoration of the anniversary of the hilarious incident, Brady has revealed that he tossed the trophy because he drank a lot of Margaritas. Brady tweeted about the incident in a joke.

Victory parade where Tom Brady had a little too much to drink

In the 2020 NFL season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs. As a result, the Bucs held a victory parade on February 10th, 2021. While most teams celebrate this parade on the roads on buses, the Buccaneers took things to the water, on boats.

On the same day, the world witnessed Tom Brady‘s craziest off-field moment. Brady, who was probably drunk, tossed the Vince Lombardi trophy at his teammate Cam Brate on another boat. That was absolutely insane to see Brady do that, but it was also entertaining.

Luckily, everything worked out well. Fortunately, the throw was amazing, it was well-received, so the outcome was a total touchdown. Everyone had a good laugh about this parade after, and the internet went bonkers over this humorous occurrence. Even LeBron James cracked a joke.

Brady told James Colden on the ‘Late Late Show’, “First of all, I was not thinking at that moment. It was not a thought. It was, ‘This seems really fun to do. Not to mention, when you get your hands on one of those trophies, there’s a lot of really sharp edges on the bottom… I found out later, had that been an incomplete pass, that would have gone down like 80 feet. I’m so happy that Cam caught it.”
