During a recent appearance on ‘The Pivot Podcast,’ Garrett Wilson, the No.10 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, joined as a guest. The podcast co-host Fred Taylor, Ryan Clark, and Channing Crowder shared their rookie dinner accounts with a clueless Wilson. It was Taylor who gave Wilson a much-needed wake-up call and was preparing him for a hole in his checkbook.

While talking about his time in New England, Taylor revealed, “When I was in New England, the entire team went out on the rookies. All I know is that bill comes back like 50, 60 thousand because Tom would come in there and buy a three, four, five thousand dollar bottle of wine, take one sip, quit it, and say goodnight.”
