He spoke about the possibility of Brady coming back during thethe Bucs’ road game against the Cardinals. Furthermore, he spoke about the possibility of Brady bringing about Kliff Kingsbury with him to the Patriots. While on the Manningcast he said, “I don’t think Brady is going to retire. I don’t think he’s going to be in Tampa next year. I do wonder, is there a possibility he could come back next year? A farewell thing. You know how much he means to Bob Kraft…Maybe it’s Kliff Kingsbury. If the Cards go 4-13, is Kliff Kingsbury coming back? Who knows.” Simmons seemed very sure of the trajectory. Kingsbury to Patriots?

Kliff Kingsbury has been the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals since 2019. He hasn’t had the most stellar record when it comes to being the head coach. Under his coaching, the Cardinals have been 28-33-1. However, with talent like Brady at his side, Kingsbury might be able to turn things around. The two seem to share a good relationship. Simmons mentioned this on his podcast and said, “they went to the derby one year together they went to Baker Baker’s Bay in Bahamas they’ve got stories,”

So as far as a relationship is concerned, the two seem to be on good terms already. It now appears to only be a waiting game as this season gets over. However, Kingsbury seems to be accustomed to playing the role of head coach. The big unspoken question that would be with Kingsbury coming to the Patriots would be what Bill Belichick’s reaction will be?
