Tom Brady is having a successful second campaign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they have already clinched the division with one game in hand. And the 44-year-old quarterback is still delivering his usually exceptional performances on a weekly basis. Recently he led the Bucs to a dramatic 24-28 comeback win against the New York Jets.

Brady finished off the game with 34 of 50 pass attempts covering 410 yards with three scores and one turnover. Suffice to say that was the most Brady-like performance recently seen. And how can it not be, since he tied up with his fellow elite class of quarterbacks in their respective mammoth milestones.

Brady threw the last touchdown of the game to Cyril Grayson as he snatched the victory off of the grabs of the Jets. That touchdown pass later became a significant piece of NFL history. Since with that pass Brady completed his 40th of the season, for the third time in his career.

Tom Brady ties up with Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees

Incidentally Brady tied up with Aaron Rodgers for the most 40 passing touchdown seasons in NFL history. And since he did it in back-to-back seasons, Brady tied with former Saints star Drew Brees (2011-2012) as the only quarterbacks to achieve this feat.

“For me it’s just I have a lot of confidence in the guys I’m playing with,” Brady said. “The line was playing great, the receivers were making plays, the tight ends were making plays, the backs were making plays. So, from my quarterback standpoint, just believing in your guys and trusting them. That’s what that situation is all about and we did that today.”

Furthermore, Brady’s 410 passing yards during the game and with that he’s now tied with Dan Marino for the third spot in having most such games [13] only behind Drew Brees [16] and Peyton Manning [14].

Tom Brady continues to assert his dominance in the league at such a stage in his career. He certainly will become the unreachable quarterback in all of stats, if he continues to play with such magnitude for another decade.
