Tom Brady Is Not in an Unfamiliar Position; Gisele Bundchen Almost Divorced Him Seven Years Ago During One of the Toughest Times in the Brady Household

More than his on-field pursuits, the Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have been taking the rounds of the internet for their personal issues. Currently, the duo has been linked with marital woes and cracks in their relationship. However, one needs to know that this was not the first time.

Back in 2015, the NFL power couple was first linked to getting a divorce. It was the time when the then Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was allegedly involved in the Deflategate scandal.

During the AFC championship game that year held in January, the Passer was rumored to have ordered a deliberate deflation of footballs that eventually helped the team win the game. Brady was reportedly having a rough bond with his partner as well. He was on the brink of divorce.

However, he subtly dodged all such theories stating his relationship was more intact than ever. “We’re in a great place… There’s no bigger supporter I have than her,” he said seven years ago, per media outlets.

“There were a lot of different emotions that I went through. Those were all at different points in different circumstances. I think they were all— I kind of took them as they come.”

“I faced obviously different adversities in my life, different challenges, and you just kind of rely on those experiences, and you rely on a lot of people that are around you for the support,” Brady said about the Deflategate issues.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s relationship is now in jeopardy

All the recent theories stemmed from the incident when the quarterback came out of his retirement in just 40 days. Per reports, Bündchen was not happy to see Brady going back to the field because the sport is quite a violent one.

Moreover, she wanted her husband close to the kids and family. All these conflicts of interest between the duo eventually got bigger with each passing. According to various sources, the relationship is now hitting the rocks, and this time a reconciliation is far from happening.

“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” said an outlet. “I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be,” a source said per media houses. With the 2022 season heating up, it will be a tough job for the quarterback to go through if all these theories happen to be true.
