It was a toe-to-toe game on Sunday night, where the Tom Brady-led side tasted defeat for the second time in a row. While the Buccaneers went disappointed to their locker rooms, another matter concerned the fans. Brady bruised his throwing arm in the first half, which looked intensely painful for the spectators watching the game.

The face-off between Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady was quite a spectacular one, living up to the expectations. The high-scoring thriller went by the Mahomes’ zone 41-31 against the Seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Moreover, the Chiefs’ defense was successful in penetrating Brady’s offensive line and sacked the quarterback in the second quarter. Kansas cornerback L’Jarius Sneed blindsided the veteran who was about to throw the ball and instantly got sacked.
Sneed ripped the QB’s right arm, stopping his attempt to throw the ball. Brady fell to the ground instantly and clutched his right hand, staying there for a few minutes. It was a turnover, handing the ball to Mahomes, and Brady left for the sidelines immediately, taking sufficient rest.
He got up again and started throwing some passes to his backup, Valine Gabbert. Fans thought that Brady would miss a play; however, the GOAT returned to the field and began where he left off.
He connected for three touchdowns, with two of them showcasing the iconic partnership between Brady and Mike Evans. He finished the game with 385 yards and was barely in pain throughout the game.
After the face-off, when asked about his arm injury, Brady said, “I’ll be alright. It’s football”. Although everything was in place for the Buccaneers this time with the wide receiver corps studded with stars like Jones, Godwin, Evans, and Beasley, the early TDs by the Chiefs helped them get the better of Brady.
Tom Brady was earlier suffering from a swollen finger
The quarterback is 45, and as earlier mentioned, it is much different playing at 30 because the body starts showing age no matter how much you take care of it. Moreover, he had earlier mentioned in the ‘Let’s Go! Podcast’ that he has been feeling the effects of the games.

A few days ago, the veteran mentioned that he had a swollen finger and played with the injury in Week 2 and Week 3. It didn’t have any impact on his performance because the injury was on his left finger, and ahead of this Sunday’s clash, he was confident about the game.

“It’s doing a lot better than last week. I mean, it was a pretty good swollen finger, but it’s just part of the game, and I think there’s a lot of bumps and bruises for guys across the league,” he said before the game. “If it was my left finger, it would be totally insignificant. It was my right finger, so just deal with it a little bit,” he added to his explanation. With an updated score of 2-2, it will be interesting to see how Brady can get back to his winning track.
