The countdown for the Capital One’s The Match golf event has already started. With a ton of trash talk between the top NFL QBs, the hype is getting real with each passing day. Recently, quarterbacks attended a media event on Wednesday. It was entertaining for the fans with their verbal give and takes against each other. However, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady caught the spotlight for taking a dig at the Bills QB Josh Allen.

The fifth edition of the golf exhibition event is scheduled to occur at the Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas on June 1. Veteran quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will team up to face the youngsters Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen on the other side.
The Packers QB, who happens to be the most experienced golfer in the group, was pitching the same thing, he said when the line-ups for the event were out. “Who thought about this, you want to put the two best guys against the two worst guys?’ And that’s not just conjecture, that’s, like, facts.” Rodgers said at the event.

Similarly, the Bills QB claimed that his team had hired a group of comedians to write scripts. “I think once Tom’s script from his team runs out of jokes, I don’t think he’s going to be able to really think on his feet like that,” Allen said. “I feel like I’ve got a lot of practice and just kind of wit and off-the-cuff stuff. I think Aaron’s a little better in that aspect, but yeah, Tom is going to have his little note card out there, and he’s going to run out eventually, and I don’t think he’s going to know what to do,” he added.
Tom Brady dishes it out for Allen
Brady had a spontaneous response as usual for the Bills QB. “I will come prepared like I always do to everything, and you know, it’s different, golf sh*t talk’s a little different than pro football sh*t talk,” Brady said.

“Usually, pro football sh*t talk is, you usually have to back that up. Josh really hasn’t backed up much on the football field in his career, let’s be honest, especially playing against me.” Brady said, taking a shot at Allen’s professional career.

Indeed, his record against the Buccaneers’ QB is not at all impressive. The 26-year-old faced Brady three times in the NFL. But tasted defeat at the hands of the GOAT. It will be interesting to see if Allen can turn the tables on the golf course.
